SRP Rules & Regulations Remediation Standards

Remediation Standards N.J.A.C. 7:26D

These rules implement the provisions of the Brownfield and Contaminated Site Remediation Act, N.J.S.A. 58:10B-12, and other statutes, by establishing minimum standards for the remediation of contaminated ground water and surface water, and by establishing the minimum residential direct contact and non-residential direct contact soil remediation standards.

These rules do not establish the minimum impact to ground water soil remediation standards; these standards shall be developed by the Department on a site-by-site basis, pursuant to the Department’s authority under N.J.S.A. 58:10B-12a.

These rules supplement the requirements of the Technical Requirements for Site Remediation rules, N.J.A.C. 7:26E.
