The Essex County Superior Officers’ Association appeals the December 20, 2021, classification decision of the Division of Agency Services, which found that Maria Tsakiridis’ position with the Essex County Department of Corrections was properly classified as Investigator Secured Facilities. Tsakiridis seeks a Senior Investigator Parole and Secured Facilities classification.

ACTION:     The Acting Chair/Chief Executive Officer directed that this appeal be denied.

 

Philip Turzani, Jr. – CSC Docket No. 2022-1709 – Decided April 3, 2023

The Essex County Superior Officers’ Association appeals the determination of the Division of Agency Services, which found that Philip Turzani, Jr.’s position with the Essex County Department of Corrections was properly classified as County Correctional Police Officer. The Association seeks an Investigator Secured Facilities classification.

Bennie Wadley, Jr. – CSC Docket No. 2022-1658 – Decided April 6, 2023

Essex County, represented by Sylvia Hall, Esq., Director of Labor Relations, appeals the determination of the Division of Agency Services, which found that Bennie Wadley, Jr.’s position with the Essex County Department of Corrections was properly classified as Investigator Secured Facilities. Essex County seeks a County Correctional Police Officer classification.

Yelena Stroiteleva – CSC Docket No. 2023-1627 – Decided April 10, 2023

Yelena Stroiteleva requests a retroactive effective date of the reclassification of her position from Geologist 2, Environmental Protection to Research Scientist 3.

Patricia Curcio appeals the determination of the Division of Agency Services that the proper classification of her position with the Department of the Treasury is Supervisor Licensing Section. The appellant seeks an Administrative Analyst 3 classification.
