Christopher Balint and Carol McKenna appeal the determinations of the Division of Agency Services that their positions with the Office of Information Technology were properly classified as Media Technician 2.  The appellants seek Assistant Promotional Material Specialist classifications in these proceedings.

Steven Hnatowicz – CSC Docket No. 2026-1174 – Decided March 4, 2026

Steven Hnatowicz appeals the determination of the Division of Agency Services that the proper classification of his position with the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Department of Human Services, is Database Administrator 1.  The appellant seeks a Database Administrator 2 classification.

 

ACTION:     The Chair/Chief Executive Officer directed that this request be denied.

 

P.H. – CSC Docket No. 2025-2820 – Decided March 4, 2026

The Department of the Treasury, on behalf of P.H., Supervising Special Agent, requests a waiver of repayment of a salary overpayment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 11A:3-7, which provides that when an employee has erroneously received a salary overpayment, repayment may be waived based on a review of the case. 

 

ACTION:     The Chair/Chief Executive Officer directed that this request be denied.

 

M.P.– CSC Docket No. 2025-728 – Decided March 4, 2026

M.P., a Correctional Police Lieutenant with the Department of Corrections, requests a waiver of repayment of a salary overpayment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 11A:3-7, which provides that when an employee has erroneously received a salary overpayment, repayment may be waived based on a review of the case.

 

ACTION:     The Chair/Chief Executive Officer directed that this request be denied.

 

A.R. – CSC Docket No. 2025-2673 – Decided March 4, 2026

The Department of the Treasury, on behalf of A.R., Investigator 3 Taxation, requests a waiver of repayment of a salary overpayment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 11A:3-7, which provides that when an employee has erroneously received a salary overpayment, repayment may be waived based on a review of the case.

K.R. – CSC Docket No. 2025-2821 – Decided March 4, 2026

Kenneth Vehrkens – CSC Docket No. 2026-651 – Decided March 4, 2026

Kenneth Vehrkens appeals the determination of the Division of Agency Services that the proper classification of his position with the Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, Office of Weights and Measures, is Weights and Measures Inspector 2.  The appellant seeks a Weights and Measures Inspector 3 classification.
