- The Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) was available for public review and comment on the Borough of Spring Lake website and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Wreck Pond website for at least 30 days. No comments were received and the Draft EA has been published as the Final EA. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service has determined that the proposed project does not have a significant effect on the human environment. Therefore an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will not be prepared and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) has been attached to the Final EA. All comments should be mailed or emailed to:
