Background

The Commission approved the GLC Dock 2 project under Section 3.8 of the Compact after a public hearing and an additional, months-long, evidentiary hearing, based on the Commission's determination that the project, as limited by the conditions in the Docket, did not impair or conflict with the Comprehensive Plan. In accordance with the regulation governing requests for extension, no additional public hearing will be provided unless three or more Commission members ask the Executive Director in writing to schedule one or vote during a public meeting of the Commission to provide one. See Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 C.F.R. 401.41(a)(4).
