Introduction to Hearing Loops
Hearing loop systems, also known as induction loop systems, are innovative assistive listening technologies that make public spaces more accessible, by providing seamless and direct access to auditory information. In fostering an environment that supports individuals with hearing loss, the Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing compiled a collection of resources designed to promote understanding and utilization of hearing loops systems.
The Introduction to Hearing Loop Systems presents resources that provide an overview of fundamental concepts, explain how the hearing loop systems function, and offer guidance on installations and the importance of adhering to installation standards.
