MVC SERVICE ALERT
In accordance with the Governor's delayed opening, NJMVC Inspection Stations will open at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 28.
Customers with canceled appointments can bring their cancelation notice for walk-in service from September 29th through October 14, 2026.
The Newark Inspection Station closed permanently on Saturday, April 11, to enable the construction of a brand-new, expanded, and modernized Newark Agency.
Affected motorists:
• Please use alternative inspection stations in Secaucus, Rahway, Wayne, or Paramus
• Inspection stickers expiring between April and July 2026 are extended for 3 months
