Volunteer in New Jersey's state parks, forests and historic sites

The New Jersey Volunteers in Parks (VIP) Program was created to afford citizens the unique opportunity to participate in the stewardship of the State's natural and historic resources that have been entrusted to the State Park Service. The VIP Program is comprised of individual volunteers and volunteer organizations. Applications for individual or organization volunteers can be downloaded by clicking on the links below. Volunteers enhance the experience of our visitors in the areas of education, interpretation, preservation, maintenance and outdoor recreation.

Volunteer - and help care for our state parks and forests.
Volunteer - and discover New Jersey's natural and cultural world.
Volunteer - and work to save our state's disappearing history.
Volunteer - and protect the state's environment by becoming a steward of its natural resources.

Completed volunteer applications can be emailed to parks@dep.nj.gov or dropped off at your local park office.
