In-Person Training & Focus Group

• November 12, 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Register for In-Person Walkaway Behavior Prevention & Focus Group
  5 Commerce Way, Hamilton NJ 08691 (Room 199A) (Please note all registered attendees are required to be physically present for this event.)
  • Presentation: Participants will explore common walkaway risk factors, practical prevention strategies, individualized safety planning, appropriate supervision, and staff response and reporting procedures. The training will also highlight resources available through the DDD Clinical Resource Team.
  • Focus Group: Participants will have an opportunity to share experiences, discuss challenges and best practices across service settings, and provide feedback to strengthen walkaway prevention and promote the safety of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
