The Town of Belvidere is located in Warren County. Although the Town of Belvidere is located entirely in the Planning Area of the Highlands region, where conformance with the Highlands Regional Master Plan (RMP) is not required, the town is eligible for grant funding to support municipal-wide planning initiatives. The Town of Belvidere is currently petitioning the Highlands Council for a review of its master plan and development regulations for alignment with the Highlands Regional Master Plan (RMP). The staff Consistency Review and Recommendations Report below provides an overview and analysis of this review. Comments on this petition are being accepted through Saturday, May 24, 2025. At this time it is anticipated that the Council may take action on the petition at its June public meeting.
