There are two municipalities in Bergen County that are in the Highlands region and both municipalities are working with the Highlands Council to help implement the Regional Master Plan (RMP) at the local level. Although Bergen County is not currently working with the Highlands Council, it is eligible for grant funding to support county-wide planning initiatives. This page contains more information about the county in relation to the Highlands region.
