Mendham Township is located in Morris County. Although Mendham Township is located entirely in the Planning Area of the Highlands region, where conformance with the Highlands Regional Master Plan (RMP) is not required, the township is eligible for grant funding to support municipal-wide planning initiatives. This page contains more information about the township in relation to the Highlands region.

The Highlands Council is currently accepting written public comments on Mendham Township's request for conformance with the Highlands RMP. Comments are being accepted through Saturday, April 26, 2025. At this time, it is anticipated that the Council may take action on the Petition at its May 15 public meeting.
