Milford Borough is a small community located along the Delaware River in western Hunterdon County. The borough is characterized by its small downtown with historic buildings and scenic surrounds. Neighboring communities include the Township of Holland in Hunterdon County to the north and east; Alexandria to the south, and the Delaware River and Pennsylvania to the west. Bridge Street connects the borough to Pennsylvania via the Upper Black Eddy-Milford Bridge over the Delaware River.

Milford Borough has requested a review of its local planning and regulatory documents for alignment with the Highlands Regional Master Plan (RMP).
