New Jersey Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council

Wharton Borough in Morris County began working with the Highlands in 2011, but has not yet completed work required to be considered conforming with the Highlands Regional Master Plan (RMP). The municipality remains eligible for grant funding and technical support from the Highlands Council. This page contains more information about the borough and its work with the Council.
