Rutgers Infill Development Study

The Rutgers University Center for Urban Policy Research has completed a draft study for the Department of Community Affairs on infill--a key component of smart growth.  The study contains both recommended technical standards (e.g., parking requirements appropriate for infill locations which tend to be less automobile dependent) and policies to support infill (e.g., accelerated processing and tax credits).

Currently, Chapter 9 of the infill study, Subdivision Standards--Parking and Infill, is undergoing peer review.  Anyone interested in submitting comments on this draft are encouraged to contact Dr. David Listokin, who is heading this study:
