Learn How You Can Help Homeowners Impacted by Hurricane Ida

Attend a general contractor outreach session to learn about the Homeowner Assistance and Recovery Program (HARP) and Small Rental Repair Program (SRRP) administered by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) to help homeowners rebuild from Hurricane Ida and better protect their homes from future storms.

Information from the session’s presentation can help enhance your bidding success on HARP and SRRP projects and can lead to steady work and guaranteed payments through government-funded programs – all while helping New Jerseyans recover from Hurricane Ida.

By attending the information session, you can also learn how to become a:

• Lead Abatement Certified Contractor by obtaining the necessary Lead Abatement Contractor certification by working on HARP/SRRP projects involving lead-based paint.

• Section 3 Business by obtaining certification and following HUD reporting requirements.

 

The HARP and SRRP programs are made possible through federal Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding that is managed by DCA’s Division of Disaster Recovery and Mitigation on behalf of the State of New Jersey.
