Division on Civil Rights Posters and Regulations
As of August 1, 2022, DCR adopted new and amended mandatory poster display regulations and created new and updated posters required by the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD). Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:8 -1.2 and 2.2, all employers are required to post the new employment poster and, employers that meet New Jerseys Family Leave Act (FLA) requirements, must post FLA posters. The posters must be posted in a place that is easily accessible to all employees and prospective employees. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:8 -1.4, any business or entity that is open to the public must also display the updated public accomodations poster in a place that is easily accessible to patrons/clients/customers and prospective patrons/clients/customers. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:8-1.3, housing providers must display one of the official DCR housing posters. Housing providers include all persons engaged in the management of residential real property; and all real estate brokers and all persons who engage in the business of selling or renting their own or others’ real property.
