The GRANT APPLICATION for the 2026 New Jersey Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program will be available on/about January 20th 2026 in the NJ DCA System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE).

Please view the list of eligible NJ Small Cities units of local governments within the Small Cities 2026 RFP Guidelines http://www.nj.gov/dca/dhcr/offices/cdbg.shtml before inquiring.

Workshop attendance is mandatory to be considered for funding, so please forward this announcement to your Community Development Officer or grants management staff to ensure they attend.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING FUNDS MAY BE SUBMITTED TO DCA BETWEEN January 20th 2026 and March 11th 2026:

  • Public Facilities Fund
  • Housing Rehabilitation Fund
  • Innovative Development Fund

Applications for Emergency Housing Repairs are accepted throughout the program year.
