This page is designated to announce emergency building closing information for New Jersey Department of Community Affairs employees and visitors

Current Announcements:


All State offices will remain open on Friday, January 7, 2022 with a delayed start time of 11 AM. If employees cannot get to work safely, they should work remotely.

All staff who have been working remotely should continue to do so pursuant to their current COVID-19 work daily schedule, as conditions allow, with the exception of employees designated as Weather Essential on the employee attendance plan. Weather Essential employees should follow specific reporting instructions from their chain of command.

In addition, based on where you reside, please comply with orders and guidance from your local emergency management and government officials.

Also, the DCA has activated the phone number 877-935-7761 to serve as the Department’s snow and emergency hotline. By calling this number, DCA employees and visitors can receive emergency closing information.
