The Moravian Church was constructed in the early American Meeting house style in the 1780s and is understood to have replaced a circa 1741 log cabin associated with the Moravian Mission of Southern New Jersey. The building exhibits both Flemish and common bond brickwork. The approximately one and one-quarter-acre site also includes the foundation of a former parsonage which burned down in 1962 and a cemetery with grave markers dating to 1753. The Gloucester County Historical Society began to pursue funding for preservation of the site in 2016.

The 2023 Trust grant will help fund the preservation of grave markers and the creation of a cemetery database.

The 2019 Trust grant helped fund the exterior restoration through spot repointing and select brick replacement as necessary, foundation repair, fascia painting, and the repair of doors and windows. Interior work includes plaster repair, painting and floor refinishing. Additionally, the proposed project includes an assessment of ADA accessibility options and design as well as the design of an interpretive brochure and site interpretive signage. An earlier Trust grant helped fund the preparation of a preservation plan, archaeological plan and investigation for the site.
