The congregation has had a presence in the area since the early-18th century, and the current church building was constructed in 1879. The church complex also includes a 1907 chapel and parish hall constructed in 1957. The church sanctuary has Gothic Revival details including heavy hood molding over window and door openings as well as a Wren-Gibbs styled tower.
The Trust grant helped fund slate roof replacement, restoration of exterior woodwork, exterior painting, and ventilated protective coverings over stained glass windows.
