The Renaissance Revival-style Ambrose Ward Mansion was constructed in 1898 during the height of the "Gilded Age". Well-preserved and architecturally distinguished, the mansion currently houses the headquarters of the African American Fund of New Jersey, a social service organization dedicated to the empowerment of the African-American community.

The Trust grant funded a preservation plan and a conditions assessment of the mansion's tile roof.
