This small frame house is a contributing resource within the boundaries of the Cape May Historic District. It is unique in Cape May for presenting life before the Victorian era.

The Trust grant will fund the stabilization of a wall and porch by installing new first floor and wall framing. This work will allow the museum, which closed for safety concerns, to reopen to the public.
