This building was originally constructed in 1771 of sandstone with a frame belfry, and modified in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.  It is the oldest church in the township, on a six-acre wooded site and surrounded by a cemetery.

The Trust grant will help fund a preservation plan that will make recommendations regarding exterior repairs and preservation and improving accessibility to the site and building.
