Eversole-Hall House
Historic Site Management Grant
Grant Award: $42,660 (2004) Grant Recipient: Township of Readington and Readington Museums County: HunterdonMunicipality: Readington
The Eversole-Hall House is a rural, vernacular 18th century structure that is interpreted as a home and shop with a small family farm. In 1988 Readington Township purchased the property, which now serves as a museum and living history site for school groups and hosts horticultural and archaeology programs.
The Trust grant helped fund the stabilization of the deteriorated foundation sills and restoration of exterior and interior features related to poor drainage and water infiltration.
