The Joseph Falkenburge House dates from c. 1805 and retains good integrity of both Federal and Italianate details. The house is also important for its association with prominent 18th and 19th century leaders in the development of South Jersey. Since 1989, it has been the headquarters for a regional nonprofit social services organization, which has maintained its historic character.
Trust grant would help fund interior and exterior rehabilitation along with structural repairs, code upgrades, and interior ADA improvements. The work is guided by a preservation plan and a structural investigation that was funded by a previous Trust grant.
