The Pittstown train station served as a hub during the late 19th and early 20th centuries when the station was used for freight and passenger service. The station played a significant economic role through the transportation of local agricultural products, the area’s prime industry. The station ceased operations in 1969 and is now suffering from deterioration.
This Trust grant will assist the preparation of a condition assessment, preliminary cost estimates, feasibility study for reuse, and measured drawings.
