Journey Through Jersey, launched by the NJ Historic Trust in 2017, is the state's go-to website for all things heritage tourism. Participation is free and the New Jersey Historic Trust will help promote your resource as a heritage tourism destination. 

Showcase your destination at New Jersey Welcome & Visitor Information Centers. The New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism provides the display of and distribution of tourism literature at state welcome centers at no cost to tourism partners.

Collaborate with New Jersey's 22 designated Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO) whose mission is to drive visitation to communities, bringing traveler spending that promotes economic activity and creates and supports local jobs. DMOs serve the traveling public at the local level by producing marketing materials and promoting the unique tourism assets in their respective areas. 

Patriot's Week celebrates Trenton's revolutionary role in America's history. 

"The Economic and Fiscal Impacts of Heritage Tourism in New Jersey," a study by Tourism Economics released in 2022.

The New Jersey Heritage Tourism Master Plan includes an online resource directory. 

In 2007 the NJ Historical Commission funded An Assessment of State Historical Marker Programs.

Cultural Heritage Tourism offers toolkits and case studies of successful tourism ventures from a national perspective.

The New Jersey Women's Heritage Trail brings to life the vital role of women in New Jersey's past and present. As a collaborative project between the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office and the Alice Paul Centennial Foundation, the New Jersey Women's Heritage Trail takes you on a journey throughout the state, using historic places to tell a collective story of famous New Jersey women who have contributed to the agricultural, industrial, labor, and domestic history of the state. 

"Telling Women's Stories" is a toolkit for historic sites and museums looking to broaden the interpretation of women and girls at their sites.
