Community Support & Refugee Sponsorship
Become Part of the Welcoming Network
Connect to any of New Jersey’s refugee service providers and ask how you can help. Assisting refugees is truly a community effort. Local agencies are always looking for volunteers who can assist with welcoming families, mentorship, transportation, translation, service coordination and more.
New Jersey’s refugee service providers provide support for both immediate employment and lasting self-sufficiency through a comprehensive approach that includes English and literacy instruction, employment-focused case management, job-readiness preparation, access to vocational skills training, and services for job placement, retention, and advancement.
If you are an employer and have jobs available, reach out to your local service provider to connect with their employment assistance staff.
