Stevens Amendment

The Stevens Amendment is a provision related to appropriations that requires grantees from the Departments of Labor (DOL), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Education to disclose specific funding details for their grant programs. These disclosures must include the percentage of costs covered by federal funds, the exact federal dollar amount, and the percentage and dollar amount provided by nongovernmental sources. This information should be included in statements, press releases, bid solicitations, and other documents describing the project or program, as mandated by Public Law 101-166, Section 511, also known as the Stevens Amendment.

In compliance with the Stevens Amendment, funding details for award totals for Program Year 2024 (PY’24) are provided below and will be revised annually.
Unless otherwise specified, all programs are entirely funded by federal sources:

  • The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor with an award totaling $30,376,429.
