Allamuchy Township forms the northeastern corner of Warren County, bordering Byram Township, Sussex County to the northeast and Mount Olive Township, Morris County just across the Musconetcong River, which forms Allamuchy’s southeastern border. Characterized by abundant farmland, more than 40% of the township is being actively used for agricultural purposes. Allamuchy is also home to Allamuchy Mountain State Park and historic Rutherford Hall. The Township is bisected by Interstate Route 80.
