There are 10 municipalities in Sussex County that are in the Highlands region and 7 municipalities are working with the Highlands Council to help implement the Regional Master Plan (RMP) at the local level. Although Sussex County is not currently working with the Highlands Council, it is eligible for grant funding to support county-wide planning initiatives.
