ADVISORY: Island Beach State Park Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permit Update

Starting now, until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the State Park Service is accepting applications to a lottery for the chance to purchase an Annual or Weekday-Only Island Beach State Park Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits. No payment is required to participate in the lottery.

Please note: Weekday-Only permits allow 7-day access to the beach outside of peak season, Jan. 1 to May 18 and Oct. 1 to Dec 31.

After the lottery application period closes a selection process will be conducted using a computer algorithm to ensure fairness and transparency.

Selected applicants will receive a unique link via email to purchase their permit. If the permit is not purchased within 14 days, additional names will be drawn.
