Subcommittee on Ecological Flows

Delaware Aqueduct Shut Down

The NYC Dept. of Environmental Protection plans to shut down and repair the Delaware Aqueduct. After several years of delay, including a start and subsequent postponement of the project in 2024, in May 2025, it was announced that the project would be delayed until after 2027 and the development of a new contract.
