Announcements and Updates

Help Desk Process Improvements

We understand timely support is especially important during busy reporting periods. Improvements to the NJSLEDS Help Desk are in progress, including updates to case management and incident tracking, to help issues be reviewed and addressed more efficiently. Thank you for your patience as these enhancements are implemented.

Recent Release Notes

NJSLEDS continues to roll out system enhancements and updates, including improvements to Staff Vacancy reporting, new and updated reports, validation rule refinements, and expanded Help Desk features. We encourage districts to regularly check the NJSLEDS website for the latest release notes and known system updates as improvements are deployed.

District User Survey

Thank you to all districts who shared feedback through our recent District User Survey. Every response is being reviewed, and we are actively compiling your input to develop an action plan focused on addressing your suggestions and improving future NJSLEDS work.

Student and Staff ID Management Enhancements

ID management remains an active priority within NJSLEDS. Related change requests are being addressed first, as they are a necessary step before associated merge and delete requests can be completed. We recognize the impact this has on districts and appreciate your continued patience as this work progresses.

Our team is also concentrating on ID Management improvements to support data accuracy and reduce duplicate records. These enhancements are focused on strengthening how records are matched and corrected, helping districts avoid issues before they impact future submissions.

Tip of the Month: Check Out Our NEW Instant Troubleshooter!

Before submitting a Help Desk ticket, use the new NJSLEDS Instant Troubleshooter to quickly find answers to common questions and issues. It’s a fast way to troubleshoot and get pointed in the right direction.
