Understanding myNJ and NJSLEDS Data Security
We have received questions from districts about whether logging into NJSLEDS through the myNJ portal creates a connection between NJSLEDS data and other state systems like pensions or professional licensing. The short answer: it does not.
Think of myNJ as a shopping plaza with a shared entrance. You use one key card to get in, but once inside, each store operates independently. NJSLEDS is one storefront — your other state services are completely separate. The shared login does not create any data connection between them.
