Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Providers
EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) is required by federal law for certain services that are delivered partially or fully in the home.
EVV is a web-based system that verifies when provider visits occur and documents the precise time services begin and end. EVV confirms that services were actually delivered using a variety of electronic methods like a phone call, smart phone application, or free EVV device in the home. It is a way to ensure that people receive their authorized services.
New Jersey's contracted EVV vendor is HHAeXchange. For questions and issues directly related to HHAeXchange, please contact the HHAeXchange NJ support team at: NJSupport@hhaexchange.com or 866-245-8337.
