Dental Services and Oral Health Care Resources
The Oral Health Care Educational Flyer below explains the need for children to see the dentist at a young age. The Flyer also explains Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) dental benefits, and good oral habits and hygiene practices.
The Dental Services for Children in NJ FamilyCare document provides recommended guidelines for:
- Diagnostic Services such as oral exams and x-rays;
- Preventive Services such as cleanings, oral care instructions for a caregiver, fluoride supplements and varnish; and,
- Dental Treatment Services for children.
