Tracking the status of your Expungement Petition:

We understand that individuals who have received expungement orders are interested in knowing the status of the processing of those orders. Due to the significant increase in expungement petitions, The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) has developed a Public Portal where petitioners can track the status of their pending expungement petitions. Please visit Expungement Status Portal and follow the guide if you are interested in tracking and receiving alerts in regard to your pending expungement petition.
