The Transportation Trust Fund (TTF) provides the opportunity for State assistance to local governments for the funding of road, bridge and other transportation projects. Annually, the TTF provides $400 million in State Aid to municipalities and counties for local transportation improvements. For FY 2017 thru FY 2024 the TTF fund distribution will be as follows-

In addition, several programs which provide funding to counties and municipalities are funded with federal monies available through the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA 21) legislation.
