End-of-Year Deadlines for Change, Merge and Delete Requests

Summary
As the End-of-Year (EOY) snapshot on June 30, 2026 approaches, the NJSLEDS team has established submission deadlines for Change, Merge and Delete requests. These deadlines give our team time to review, process and apply each request before the EOY snapshot for Student Management, Staff Management and Staff Vacancy.
Update: This revises a previously communicated Change Request deadline of June 1, 2026. The current Change Request deadline is June 15, 2026.
Submission Deadlines

Requests submitted after these dates will not be processed before the June 30 EOY snapshot. We strongly encourage districts to submit requests as soon as possible rather than waiting until the deadline dates.
What You Need to Do
Step 1: Review your records
Identify any student or staff records that need a Change, Merge or Delete request before the EOY snapshot.
Step 2: Prepare your request using the correct template
Download the appropriate Change, Merge or Delete template from the NJSLEDS Key Documents page.
Step 3: Submit through the Help Desk
Submit your completed request through the NJSLEDS Help Desk using the “Contact Help Desk” button on the NJSLEDS system homepage.
Why These Deadlines Exist
Change, Merge and Delete requests require manual review and processing by the NJSLEDS team. Setting deadlines ahead of June 30 ensures requests can be reviewed and applied before snapshot activities begin, so your district’s EOY data accurately reflects approved changes.
