ABOUT THE LAW

P.L. 2023, c. 164 was enacted on August 16, 2023 and requires that certified payrolls for public works projects be submitted online. The law takes effect 365 days after enactment. The online database for submission is available now and can be accessed from this webpage.

INFORMATION FOR CONTRACTORS

If the public body with which you have contracted to perform public work is registered to use the New Jersey Wage Hub, you may register to use the New Jersey Wage Hub as well, and if the public body agrees, you may submit certified payroll records to the pubic body through the New Jersey Wage Hub.

If the public body operating your project is not using the New Jersey Wage Hub, you can invite the public body to register with their myNewJersey account in order to access all certified payrolls online. You can also download the submitted form and email or fax the form to them separately.
