During 1974, while assigned to Troop "D" Newark Barracks, Trooper Plebani engaged in courageous actions at the scene of a multiple vehicle accident and fire on the New Jersey Turnpike.
1973
Trooper James Harper #2108
During 1973, while assigned to Troop "D" New Brunswick Barracks, Trooper Harper was severely wounded in a gun battle with Black Liberation Army members. During the gun battle, fellow Trooper Werner Forester and one of the three assailants were mortally wounded. Trooper Harper's actions under fire were directly responsible for bringing the perpetrators of this heinous offense to justice.

During 1972, while assigned to Troop "B" Sussex Barracks, Trooper Goble effected 147 arrests on 231 separate criminal charges. Recovered as a result of Trooper Goble's efforts was stolen property valued in excess of $29,500.

During 1971, while assigned to Troop "D" Moorestown Barracks, Trooper Thom effected 199 arrests after initiating 90 separate patrol related investigations. The investigations ranged from a variety of narcotic offenses to weapons trafficking and possession of stolen vehicles.
