Roughly three-quarters of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck with little to no savings. For many, the pandemic only intensified these already stressful circumstances.
The New Jersey Department of the Treasury is pleased to offer our free financial wellness platform, NJ FinLit, for all state residents at all stages of life and across the socioeconomic spectrum. We created these marketing tools to make it easier for our valued partners - employers, government agencies, nonprofits – to join us in a concerted effort to raise awareness about this new resource.
Because every person's financial situation is unique, New Jersey's platform tailors information to each individual's specific needs and interests, offering personalized, takeaway-loaded content covering all the must-knows, pinpointed knowledge-building exercises and how-to tutorials, explainer videos with simple-to-absorb tips and tricks, and much more.
It is our hope that this free educational resource, which can be personalized by New Jerseyans at all stages of life, regardless of income, and translated into multiple languages, will both help our residents strengthen their financial resiliency and enable them to reach their long-term goals. We encourage you to use some or all of these outreach tools to help us meet this goal.
