Workforce Engagement Unit
Workforce Engagement is a unit within the Department of Treasury, Division of Administration, led by the Deputy Director of Legal, Compliance & Workforce Engagement. The unit is responsible for assessing, improving, developing, and effectively implementing Treasury-wide inclusive engagement programs, key workforce initiatives, and performance metrics. It facilitates the implementation of internal policies to support the Department's workforce engagement goals, including the advancement of diverse and inclusive practices, talent development, employee empowerment, and collaborative culture building.

September has been recognized as National Recovery Month since its launch in 1989 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Originally called "Treatment Works!", the observance was created to honor the work of addiction professionals. It was later renamed "National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month" to shift the focus more directly onto the recovery journey.
