The “State Well Drillers and Pump Installers Examining and Advisory Board” is comprised of nine members, whose duties include review and modification of licensing examinations, certification of examination applicants and of the results of the examinations, formulation and recommendations to the Department of new rules and regulations. The Board also advises the Department regarding any enforcement actions or complaints against any licensed well drillers or pump installers, and may make recommendations to the Commissioner regarding the suspension or revocation of the license of any well driller or pump installer.

Please be advised that the July 23, 2020 NJ State Well Drillers and Pump Installers Examining and Advisory Board will not be held at the Department of Environmental Protection headquarters to best protect the health and safety of Board members, Department staff and members of the public. The meeting will be conducted as a conference call. During this call the Board intends to take formal action to approve qualified license candidates and continuing education courses. While there will be no staff at the Department Headquarters, members of the public who wish to participate in the call may call 1-877-810-9415 and enter access code 369-7020 when prompted. The meeting will begin at 10 am. Please continue to check this website for information on future meetings.
