- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and JQuery, JavaScript libraries and MVC frameworks (Angular, React JS or any others)

Computer Operator Assistant
Entry-level level position

Responsibilities include:
- assist in the configuration of computers to maintain hard drive back-ups to servers or cloud solutions
- load appropriate applications to hard drives
- map drives to network printers and verify connection and output
- resolve device errors as they arise and assist with proactive maintenance as needed
- open and process work request tickets
- continually increase knowledge of IT hardware, software, policies and procedures, repairs, and forms used by the Department
- maintain reference sheets and assist in building a knowledge base for technicians through experience and training to help resolve as many issues as possible and recommend updates and changes to reference sheets or knowledge base as needed

Employment Services Trainee

Employment Services Trainee
Entry-level position
Hackensack, NJ

Responsibilities include:
- Interviewing and classifying job applicants for employment
- Making field and office investigations to determine applicant eligibility for employment disability benefits and/or unemployment insurance
- Assising in making investigations involved in observance of Title 34, New Jersey Statutes, or in administration of sections of the Prevailing Wage Act for which the office is responsible

Pending approval, employees can opt in to our part-time (2 days per week) telework program, alternate workweek program, or flextime program.
In addition to 12 state holidays annually, full-time employees have a minimum of TK paid sick days, vacation days, and administrative days to take each year.
All state employees contribue to the pension fund. After 36 months of qualified service and contributions, employees may be eligible to take out a pension loan, repayable per paycheck over a set term.
Life insurance is also offered at a rate of TK times an employee's base salary.
