NJDOT proposing to adopt rules on Tourist-Oriented Directional Signs
(Trenton) - The New Jersey Department of Transportation is proposing to adopt N.J.A.C. 16:41D, Tourist Oriented Directional Signs Program (TODS).
The TODS program provides motorists with directional information to eligible tourist-oriented businesses and activities located off the state highway system through official highway signs.
The proposed rule appears in the March 7, 2011 issue of the New Jersey Register. The public has until May 6, 2011 to comment on the proposal. Persons wishing to comment must do so in writing to Miriam Weeks, Administrative Practice Officer, NJ Department of Transportation, P.O. Box 600, Trenton, NJ 08625-0600. Faxes may be sent to (609) 530-3841. Comments must be postmarked or faxed on or before May 6, 2011, which is the close of the 60-day public comment period.
Comments submitted to the Department on the proposed rulemaking are public records and are available for public inspection by appointment during normal Department business hours.
