Prepares for
Blue Ribbon
Commission Report
Blue
Ribbon Commission Report
due soon
Realizing
the seriousness of the
work that lies ahead
for transportation,
Governor James E. McGreevey
created a Blue Ribbon
Commission earlier this
year. He asked them
to access New Jersey's
transportation network
and its needs to develop
recommendations for
addressing these critical
issues.
As
soon as the Commission
issues its report, NJ
TRANSIT and NJDOT are
prepared to begin working
with commuters, elected
officials and members
of the Legislature to
safeguard the Transportation
Trust Fund and protect
the more than $2.5 billion
it annually invests
in our state's economy
and infrastructure.
