Hurricane Ida Action Plan Public Comment Period Now Closed
The public comment period for the Hurricane Ida Action Plan closed at 5 p.m. on September 16, 2022.
The Hurricane Ida Action Plan details how the State proposes to utilize $228,346,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to help households and communities recover from Hurricane Ida.
The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) is now reviewing all public comments provided during the 30-day public comment period. Per federal guidelines, DCA will synthesize the public comments and then include written responses to those comments as part of the final Hurricane Ida Action Plan submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for review and approval.
